James Cameron is reportedly developing a TV series based off his 1994 film True Lies.  The original movie centered on a family man (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) living a double-life as a spy, and his wife (played Jamie Lee Curtis) who wants more excitement in her life.  Action-comedy ensues.  According to Deadline, the project is being shopped to the networks with Rene Echevarria (The 4400) is the writer/showrunner, and is  executive producing with Cameron and Lightstorm Entertainment's Rae Sanchini and Jon Landau.

Cameron's last foray into episodic television was the 2000 series Dark Angel starring Jessica Alba.  Echevarria also served as an executive producer on that program.  Hit the jump to check out the 1994 trailer for True Lies.
