  • THR is reporting that James Gunn is not only writing Suicide Squad 2, but he is officially directing the sequel as well for Warner Bros and DC.
  • Deadline reports, and Ben Affleck confirmed on Twitter, that he will not be a part of Matt Reeves' The Batman and that his time as the Caped Crusader is over.
  • Warner Bros. announced that his has moved up the release date for Doctor Sleep from January 24 of next year to November 8th of this year. WB also issued release dates for DC Super Pets and Robert Zemeckis's adaptation of The Witches.
  • Deadline is reporting that after helming Hobbs & Shaw, David Leitch is looking to direct a feature film adaptation of the vampire graphic novel Undying Love for Studio 8.
  • Deadline reports that Brie Larson and A Star Is Born producer Lynette Howell Taylor have made a two-picture deal at Netflix. One of these films, Lady Business, will see Larson star and possibly direct.
