Screen Gems is putting together a promising package for the new film Black PhantomVariety reports that Jamie Foxx and Kevin Hart are in talks to star in the pic, while Hart’s Ride Along director Tim Story is in discussions to take the helm.  The story revolves around a double-crossed mob hitman who enlists the help of the same hitman who had been sent to kill him, the Black Phantom.  The genre of the pic is unclear, but with Hart onboard there’s no doubt at least some comedic element to the film.  Story and Hart made Ride Along to great success, with the film scoring $140 million at the worldwide box office and spawning a sequel, which is expected to begin filming this year.

Foxx has two high profile films opening this year, as he plays the primary villain Electro in Sony’s sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2 this May and stars opposite the young Quvenzhane Wallis in Sony’s musical redo Annie.  Hart is next set to shoot the comedy Get Hard opposite Will Ferrell.
