Last week, we reported that Jane Lynch had joined the cast of the upcoming Muppets movie starring Jason Segel. According to TheWrap, Lynch was supposedly playing a prison guard in the movie with Danny Trejo cast as her prisoner. However, Lynch has told THR, “I’m not doing the Muppets movie. They haven’t asked me. I would do it if they asked me.” On behalf of everyone who has ever seen Lynch in anything, I would like to say to the filmmakers: Ask her.
Other actors rumored to be joining Segel include Zach Galifianakis, Jack Black, Donald Glover, Eric Stonestreet, John Krasinski, Ed Helms, Lady Gaga, and Paul Rudd. James Bobin (Flight of the Conchords) will direct a script from Segel and Nicholas Stoller (Get Him to the Greek). The film is set to be released on December 25, 2011.

agreed. she seems like a super nice woman, but i am sick of watching her same ol’ schtick. i honestly just don’t get it. for me, she peaked in ‘best of show’ and has been recycling the same gags over and over again, ever since.
