Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes sequel, now titled Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, recently wrapped filming in London. While the film doesn’t come out until the end of this year, actor Jared Harris recently opened up a bit on the closely guarded flick. Harris plays the villain Moriarity, Holmes’ nemesis that was referred to at the end of the first flick. Speaking to MTV, Harris teased a bit about Game of Shadows:
“There’s some fisticuffs. It’s great fun. It’s sort of like the story kind of starts a lot faster than the last one, almost like you’re coming in the third act of the story almost.”
While not much is revealed in the way of plot, that’s to be expected. Ritchie only just wrapped filming and they certainly want to keep anticipation rolling high up through its release. Steve got the chance to visit the set, and you can check out a preview of his upcoming set visit here. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows hits theaters later this year on December 16th. The film stars Robert Downey Jr. Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Noomi Rapace, and Stephen Fry.
