First up from Variety is word that Javier Bardem joins The Last Face, which we previously reported as being titled The Last Space.  In that write-up, Theron was in talks to join the African-set romantic drama, but now it looks like the trio of principal cast members are set.  Penn directs from an Erin Dignam script that sees Theron playing a relief worker, Bardem as a doctor in Africa who is forced to choose between romance and dedication to his work, and Exarchopoulos playing a journalist.  The plan is to begin production this summer in Africa.

Deadline brings word that Howard will join Term Life, which is currently filming.  Based on a graphic novel, the movie centers on a criminal (Vaughn) who takes out a life insurance policy on himself in order to provide for his daughter (Steinfeld), but must stay alive long enough for the policy to take effect.  "Howard will play Sheriff Braydon, a small-town cop who crosses paths with the pair as they’re on the run."

Also from Deadline is news that Marino will join Goosebumps.  "Marino will play Coach Carr, the blowhard coach at Greendale High who wades into battle when monsters overrun the school."   The adaptation centers on "a teen named Zach Cooper (Minnette), whose family moves to a new home where his new neighbor is a mysterious author (Black). When a demonic ventriloquist’s dummy unleashes the author’s creepy creations, it’s up to his niece Hannah (Odeya Rush) and Zach to battle the evil forces and save their town.”  Ryan stars as Zach’s doubting mother, with Jillian Bell playing his ditzy aunt.  Goosebumps is scheduled to open March 23, 2016.
