Mads Mikkelsen Talks Rogue One

As the council get’s set for their big Star Wars show, the first item up is a potential spoilery conversation so, yeah; spoiler alert. If you don’t want to learn about some information about the upcoming Star Wars story, mute your video – fast forward – or take a bathroom break. It has to do with the reveal of who Mad Mikkelsen is playing in Rogue One.

Pablo Hidalgo Confirms No Snoke in Rogue One

Next we have some Pablo Hidalgo news about Rogue One again. No need to worry about any spoilers here… Because it’s just Pablo Hidalgo doing what he does best – squashing ridiculous rumors. The council dive in talking about Pablo’s recent comments, dispensing the notion fans have that Snoke is in Rogue One. Which inevitably leads to speculation on if we’ll find out more about him in Episode VIII.

Casting Director Nina Gold Talks Casting Finn and Rey

Recently, casting director Nina Gold was interviewed by THR about how she found John Boyega and Daisy Ridley, revealing how Lucasfilm and Disney were very happy to let Nina test a bunch of unknowns for the movie – leading to her finding Daisy. The council discuss the thankless job of casting and how hard it is to be a casting director.

Star Wars Episode VIII Shooting Update from Ireland

Thanks to Starwarsnews.net, the council talks the very thorough update of filming locations Episode VIII has touched on – which is a lot. The site provided a map listing all the different locations being used which show a lot of land in the country being used as the possible backdrop for Mark Hammil's Luke Skywalker training Rey in the ways of the Force.


David Prowse Talks Darth Vader

The new documentary Elstree 1976 takes place during the filming of the original Star Wars and goes into all the extras that were in the movie and what their thoughts were to be filming such a weird movie (at the time). Also in it, David Prowse, who played the man in the suit for Darth Vader, talked a bit about what it was like filming Vader and then finding out your voice was dubbed over by James Earl Jones.

Here now is the segment called What’s the Deal with Canon – a discussion on everything in the world of canon that isn’t one of the movies, be it Episodes or Star Wars’ Story.

On this very special addition, the council look at Star Wars Rebels, the new book Bloodline and the latest issue of Star Wars published by Marvel.
