This isn’t exactly official, but LA Times (via their Gold Derby blog) is reporting Academy Award winner and The Dude himself, Jeff Bridges, will be hosting the December 18th episode of Saturday Night Live. No musical guest has been reported alongside the actor but wouldm’t be cool, however unlikely, if Bridges performed as Bad Blake from Crazy Heart? Though NBC hasn’t commented or confirmed, his hosting makes sense since he’ll have not just one, but two major films to promote in December. TRON: Legacy would hit theaters on December 17th, a day before his proposed hosting stint, and True Grit is set to be release at Christmas. Bridges is just a masterful performer, and it’ll be great to see him make with the funny again.

If there’s not a Big Lebowski sketch, then SNL will have failed more than they usually do.
I’m sure there’ll be a digital short that is Tron-related.
