Earlier today we posted about the possibility of an X-Force movie set up at 20th Century Fox. Creator Rob Liefeld issued a statement saying the project is in early planning stages and has been in the works since March of this year. Now it looks as if Jeff Wadlow (Kick-Ass 2) has been tapped to pen the X-Force script with a possibility of boarding as director. Fox is expected to announce more about the X-Force film next week at Comic-Con, capitalizing on the excitement over Bryan Singer’s upcoming sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past. An X-Force film (and probable franchise) would expand the “X” universe and likely provide an entry for Cable and Deadpool among others. Keep an eye out for our coverage from Comic-Con next week for more updates. Heat Vision reported on Wadlow’s attachment to the X-Force project.
