First Image of Jennifer Lawrence in Full Mystique Makeup in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

     May 20, 2013

Bryan Singer is at it again.  The X-Men: Days of Future Past director has revealed yet another behind-the-scenes peek at a character from the upcoming sequel, this time giving us a look at Jennifer Lawrence in her full body makeup as Mystique.  The filmmaker describes the character as “vengeful” in the tweet, suggesting that the complicated relationship between Lawrence’s Mystique and James McAvoy’s Professor X from First Class will continue in this follow-up.  We just recently shared what Ellen Page had to say about returning for DOFP and having her picture Tweeted by Singer, so if you missed that story click here to catch up.

Hit the jump to take a look at Lawrence in costume (or, um, body paint).  If you missed them check out Singer’s images of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine,  Halle Berry as StormPatrick Stewart as Professor XJames McAvoy as Professor XEllen Page as Kitty Pryde, and Shawn Ashmore as Iceman.  The film also stars Michael FassbenderIan McKellanAnna Paquin, Omar SyDaniel Cudmore, Booboo Stewart, Fan Bingbing, and Peter Dinklage.  X-Men: Days of Future Past opens July 18, 2014.
