How is anger management going, Jessica? "Still angry." A new trailer for Jessica Jones Season 2 actually backs things up to Season 1 as well, as Jessica (Krysten Ritter) explains her background and how how she deals with things -- mostly, with anger, super-powered strength, and whiskey. Though not a lot of the scenes are from the new season, I believe in the "less is more" approach anyway. Besides, the point of this trailer is just to remind us that Jessica has a certain way of doing things, one that doesn't always make it easy to define her as a hero.

My enthusiasm for these Marvel-Netflix series has waned with each additional release, but my optimism remains when it comes to Jessica Jones. She was the highlight of The Defenders for me, and had the strongest solo season yet. It's also been over two years since we got to see Season 1, so we are overdue for more of this butt-kicking broad. Bring it on! Check out the new trailer and images below:

And here is the official synopsis for Jessica Jones, which returns to Netflix on Thursday, March 8th. Also be sure to look for our review when the embargo lifts Tuesday, February 27th!

New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after taking down her tormenter, Kilgrave. Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.

Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) is joined by an incredible returning cast that includes Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth), Eka Darville (Malcolm Ducasse) and new cast members Janet McTeer and J.R. Ramirez, among others.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones on Netflix is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg (“Twilight”, “Dexter), Raelle Tucker (“True Blood”), Jim Chory (“Marvel’s Daredevil”, “Marvel's Luke Cage”, “Marvel's Iron Fist”) and Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Daredevil”, “Marvel's Luke Cage”, “Marvel's Iron Fist”) who also serves as Marvel’s Head of Television.
