Casting for Seth MacFarlane’s comedy Ted continues to take shape as Jessica Stroup (Beverly Hills 90210) has signed on to the project. Per THR, Stroup will make a turn as Mila Kunis’ office co-worker, “a woman who has slept with their boss” played by Community‘s Joel McHale. Aside from her apparent promiscuity, further details regarding Stroup’s character are absent. In addition to Stroup, McHale, and Kunis, Ted also stars Mark Wahlberg, Giovanni Ribisi, and Patrick Warburton.

For those unaware, Ted (co-written and directed by MacFarlane) tells the story of a grown man (Wahlberg) whose wish that his childhood teddy bear would come to life comes true. As the story goes, the bear (played by MacFarlane using motion-capture) is a full-on hot mess, complete with swearing and toking, and eventually wrecks said man’s life. Ted marks MacFarlane’s feature film debut and is set to hit theaters on July 13th, 2012.

  1. Drop Dead Fred, anyone?

i don’t mind per se, but if there won’t be an underlined sexual tension between the bear and Wahlberg, then it will be no good.

    DDF was the best

  2. That jessica girl has mean eyes. Don’t care for her. They should have chosen a more sympathic strumpet for the part.
