Open Road Films has released four clips from the upcoming biopic, Jobs.  The film stars Ashton Kutcher as Apple founder Steve Jobs, and goes through the standard rise-fall-redemption story arc of most biopics.  I saw the film at Sundance, and was surprised at how a film that showcased an innovator could show so little innovation.

Hit the jump to check out the clips, and perhaps you'll get a sense of what I mean.  The film also stars Josh Gad, Dermot Mulroney, Matthew Modine, Lukas Haas, Ron Eldard, and J.K. SimmonsJobs opens August 16th.

Here’s the synopsis for Jobs:

We follow Steve Jobs (ASHTON KUTCHER) from the enthusiasm and self-discovery of his youth through his darkest days, brightest triumphs, and the ultimate power of his drive, his passions, and his undying will to change everything we thought possible. Dark, honest, and uncompromising, “Jobs” plunges into the depths of Steve Jobs’ character, uncovering his driving motivations, his gifts, his flaws, his failures, and his ultimate successes.
