We at Collider are happy to bring you an exclusive clip from the home video release of one of 2019’s most delightful films thus far, The Kid Who Would Be King. The original fantasy film was written and directed by Joe Cornish and stars Louis Ashbourne Serkis as a young boy who stumbles upon Excalibur and must use his knowledge of the King Arthur legend to save England once more.

In this exclusive bonus features clip, the cast and crew shower Cornish with praise and talk about his enthusiasm for making the film. The Kid Who Would Be King is truly a special movie, as it’s the rare (nowadays at least) film aimed at kids that’s actually about and starring kids. It tackles emotionally complex issues that most kids face in a way that never feels like pandering or lesson-learning, and it’s packed with inventive filmmaking and a huge, beating heart. This is one of 2019’s unseen gems, so if you haven’t watched it yet, definitely give it a go.
