Though he's been delivering hilarity at NBC by way of the comedy series Community, Joel McHale still has his roots back at E! by hosting the pop culture skewering satire show The Soup. Now Deadline reports the comedian has just finalized a new deal with the cable channel to continue hosting the consistently hilarious and even nonsensical show for another two years. I'm glad to see McHale hasn't gotten too big for his britches and will continue his job for the next two years at least. No matter how funny Daniel Tosh may be on Tosh.0, McHale really lays into the stupidity of reality TV and celebrities. It's just kind of sad/ironic that he has to do it on a channel that broadcasts to audiences who eat that garbage up like a prize steak. The Soup has been running for seven seasons now and recently hit 300 episodes, but I'm still looking forward to more.
