With Andrew Stanton‘s John Carter hitting theaters next week, passionate fans have been using Disney’s own marketing materials to create some pretty cool stuff. Just last week we posted the best trailer yet and we also posted a pretty cool poster by Hopko Designs. Of course, this is in addition to the awesome clips Disney has released, the featurettes, the 13 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the film, the 95 images, and so much more.
Now, thanks to my friend Dave who is getting a lot better with his computer skills, I’ve got two more fan made posters to share with you. While it’s always awkward when a friend emails to ask what you think, I thought both of his posters were cool enough to share with our readers. Saying that, I think the first one is the best. Judge for yourself after the jump and let Dave know what you think in the comments. I’m sure he’ll be reading them.
Finally, if you follow me on Twitter you know I saw John Carter last week. I’m happy to report I thought it was great and for two hours I felt transported to another time and place. Also, the action scenes were massive, and I couldn’t believe the size and scope of the film. Trust me, if you’ve been looking forward to John Carter, you’re going to be very happy on March 9.
