John Krasinski, Olivia Thirlby, and Rosemarie DeWitt are in negotiations to star in Nobody Walks.  You are a keen individual, and guessed from the collection of idiosyncratic actors that Nobody Walks is an independent drama.  You are correct.  (Note: the judges also would have accepted “low-budget dramedy.”)  According to Variety, the film depicts one week in the life of “a Los Angeles family who invite a young, charismatic artist into their home, only to find her disrupting their lives.”  Director Ry Russo-Young (You Won’t Miss Me) co-wrote the script with rising star Lena Dunham (Tiny Furniture).  Production is slated for the end of May in Los Angeles.

Hit the jump for a look at the other projects on the calendar for Krasinski, Thirlby, and DeWitt.

Both DeWitt and Thirlby starred in Margaret, the second feature by writer/director Kenneth Lonergan (You Can Count on Me).  However, that has been in the can for some time now — it is unclear if/when Margaret will see release.

Thrilby — who, as far as I can tell, is my generation’s Parker Posey — is keeping busy.  The actress has completed shooting Dredd and The Darkest Hour.  Up next is an adaptation of the Nick Flynn memoir Another Bullshit Night in Suck CityThe Darkest Hour opens December 23.
