Jon Stewart’s absence this election season has been deeply felt. The Daily Show is nowhere near as good without him, and while Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and Full Frontal with Samantha Bee have been picking up the slack somewhat, it’s just not the same. When Stewart left The Daily Show back in August of last year, he assumed that Donald Trump was a joke who would fade over the course of the primaries. Unfortunately for America, Trump stuck around and now more than ever we could use Stewart’s wit to help relieve some of the depressing tension this election season has wrought.

We’ll have to make due with Stewart’s stand-up at the Woodruff Foundation's 10th annual Stand Up for Heroes Benefit Tuesday night at the Theater in Madison Square Garden. Stewart went after Trump with comments like [via Vulture], “Dude, you live in a tower with your name on it in gold. How well would you be doing if the man wasn't keeping you down?” in response to Trump’s claim that the election is rigged.

But where Stewart really went off was in retelling his 2013 Twitter feud with Trump, or as Stewart calls it, “The Day I Woke Up to Find Out Somebody Was Tweeting Weird Shit About Me.” For those who don’t know, Trump tweeted that Stewart was not only overrated, but that he should go by his birth name, “Johnathan Leibowitz”, which Stewart changed because he’s estranged from his father. Stewart replied that Trump should go by his real name, Fuckface von Clownstick. And we were off to the races.

Watch Stewart’s bit below and hope that when he finally returns with an unspecified show for HBO, it will be during a Clinton presidency and not a von Clownstick presidency.
