Few bits of casting news - first off, Joseph Fiennes (Shakespeare in Love) is in talks to appear as a regular on the second season of FX's thriller American Horror Story. Acting as the head of the institution for the criminally insane, Fiennes' character would be set to have a May/December (or Harold and Maude?) romance with star Jessica Lange who also works there. For more on who will be appearing in the show's second season along with a discussion of the surprising casting choice for the upcoming season of FX's badass biker drama Sons of Anarchy, hit the jump.If Fiennes joins the cast of American Horror Story he will be among an already stellar cast that includes (in addition to Lang), James Cromwell, Chloe Sevigny, Zachary Quinto, Adam Levine, Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, and Evan Peters. EW reports that not much else is known about the character Fiennes may potentially play except that he is, of course, a "tortured" soul.Next, when one thinks of a hardcore California biker gang one naturally thinks of … High School Musical?  Michael Ausiello of TV Line has learned that former Disney star Ashley Tisdale will play Emma Jean, a high-priced and desirable escort who (unsurprisingly) complicates the club's dynamics in a multi-episode arc that will play out during Sons of Anarchy's upcoming season. If she manages to make it without Gemma smashing a skateboard in her face, being beaten up by Jax or getting brutally murdered by a pimp, she'll be doing better than most female guest stars of the series. Sons of Anarchy's fifth season will also include guest stars Jimmy Smits (NYPD Blue) and Harold Perrineau (Lost).
