David O. Russell's latest stars Jennifer Lawrence as Joy, a young woman with a knack for inventing who's determined to hit it big with her latest creation, the world's first self-wringing mop. She's got a promising product and tons of determination, but she's going to need a lot more than that to power through some betrayal, family drama and the abundance of obstacles posed by the ruthless world of commerce.

Just before Joy hit theaters, I got the chance to sit down with Russell for a quick round of "Would You Rather." If you've been keeping up with the series, you'll notice a number of very familiar questions, but given Russell's unique way of working, they're especially appropriate here and he was a very good sport about it. Catch Russell playing "Would You Rather" in the video interview below. Joy is currently in theaters and also stars Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, Edgar Ramirez, Isabella Rossellini, Diane Ladd and Virginia Madsen.

Here’s the official synopsis for Joy:

JOY is the wild story of a family across four generations centered on the girl who becomes the woman who founds a business dynasty and becomes a matriarch in her own right. Betrayal, treachery, the loss of innocence and the scars of love, pave the road in this intense emotional and human comedy about becoming a true boss of family and enterprise facing a world of unforgiving commerce. Allies become adversaries and adversaries become allies, both inside and outside the family, as Joy’s inner life and fierce imagination carry her through the storm she faces. Jennifer Lawrence stars, with Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, Edgar Ramirez, Isabella Rossellini, Diane Ladd, and Virginia Madsen. Like David O. Russell’s previous films, Joy defies genre to tell a story of family, loyalty, and love.
