It’s not really a Dwayne Johnson movie without some fisticuffs. The actor is ready for anything the terrors of Jumanji have in store for him in the film directed by Jake Kasdan (Bad Teacher), and he’s teasing some of the action to come in new video and photos posted to his Instagram.

Johnson embraced the delights of Instagram when he filmed Baywatch and Fast 8 by gifting his fans behind-the-scenes images and video, as well as announcing casting on the platform. He continues to do the same for Jumanji, a continuation of the story that began with Robin Williams in the 1995 film. The latest look offers glimpses at a fight scene in a Middle Eastern bazaar. The Rock posted a video on Monday of him getting pumped with co-star Kevin Hart before tossing stuntmen like rag dolls, but the past few days have seen various photos of the action. One sees Johnson throwing a “bad man” through a cement pillar, while another sees him fighting stuntman Tait Fletcher, who’s even larger than him. Elsewhere, we see Hart discussing how his character — a “brilliant zoologist,” according to Johnson — will defang a deadly Black Mamba.Jumanji also stars Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas, Alex Wolff, Ser’Darius Blain, Madison Iseman, and Morgan Turner. According to a report, the film will take on a video game vibe with a story that centers on four teens in detention who get sucked into the world of Jumanji, where they take on various avatar forms. Those avatar forms are said to be the roles played by Johnson, Gillan, Black, and Hart. The film is in its last few weeks of filming as the crew focuses more on the sound stage and VFX-heavy work. Jumanji will be released in theaters on December 22, 2017.See the video and photos below:

Been shooting #Jumanji for months now and I've been waiting patiently for this night to come... In the original movie, the world of #Jumanji came to us. Now 20yrs later in our continuation of the story, we go to the amazing and deadly world of #Jumanji. For months we've shot everything.. all the comedy, all the jungle action and all the heart. Finally, tonight - Saturday night - all night - I get to knuckle up with my stunt brothers and I get to beat some ass like a drum. My stunt brother here @taitfletcher is going night night. And when he wakes up, I'll be good as gone cause he can rearrange my face with one punch. Let's get it on boys and have some fun. #OnSet #KnuckleUp #BeatingAssesLikeDrums #BeenWaitingForMonths #StuntBrotherLuv #Jumanji #Tonights4YouAlanParrishA photo posted by therock (@therock) on
