JURASSIC PARK 3D TV Spots Scare You with Nostalgia

It’s been twenty years since Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park stomped into theaters, but the 3D re-release is only a few weeks away.  In order to scare up some interest in seeing the remastered classic on the big screen, two new TV spots have been made available.  They’re quick montages of some of the scariest and most iconic scenes from the film, but are clearly aimed at drawing in audiences by nostalgia instead of pitching a film to a completely new viewers.

Starring Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Samuel L. Jackson, Wayne Knight and Richard Attenborough, Jurassic Park 3D opens April 5th.  Hit the jump to watch the new TV spots.

Here’s the synopsis of the re-release of Jurassic Park in 3D:

Universal Pictures will release Steven Spielberg’s groundbreaking classic JURASSIC PARK in 3D on April 5, 2013. With his remastering of the epic into a state-of-the-art 3D format, Spielberg introduces the three-time Academy Award®-winning blockbuster to a new generation of moviegoers and allows longtime fans to experience the world he envisioned in a way that was unimaginable during the film’s original release.

Starring Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Samuel L. Jackson and Richard Attenborough, the film based on the novel by Michael Crichton is produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Gerald R. Molen.

  1. Saw a 3D sneak peek of the iconic T-Rex scene in front of the IMAX print of Oz. It’s AWESOME! I definately wouldn’t miss this re-release.

  2. Isn’t the original post’s pic of T-Rex and Jeff Goldblum reversed (mirror image). I am pretty certain that in the film, the fence is on the right side of the frame, in relation to Goldblum, as he runs towards the camera.
