Universal has released the first Jurassic World trailer online. The movie takes place 22 years after Jurassic Park and is set on a fully functional park on Isla Nublar. My initial thoughts are... "please God don't let that be the final CG render." I love the concepts at play here, I love the fact that there are paying customers at the park. I love action hero Chris Pratt and icy Bryce Dallas Howard. As far as the effects, it's par for the course to issue a trailer using incomplete renders since these big blockbusters are typically worked on up until the very day they have to be delivered for prints and DCPs to be struck. So I'm going to go ahead and say I'm still optimistic here.
