The Jurassic World marketing campaign never even needed to tease the raptor squad or the Indominus Rex. The appeal of seeing a fully operational version of John Hammond's original dream was more than enough of a draw. There's a good deal of dino destruction in the film's latest TV spot, but the piece also does a far better job than most at conveying what a day at Jurassic World is like before jumping into all of the chaos. I wanted to make a cute joke about that dinosaur petting zoo, but that's really what the Jurassic World promotional push needs more of - smaller moments that make you wish you could actually visit a place like this, not necessarily ones that reveal how Jurassic World takes what Hammond was trying to achieve to the next level.

Check out the new Jurassic World TV spot below. The film opens in 3D on June 12th, and stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Ty SimpkinsVincent D’Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Judy Greer.
