So many amazing panels and events went down at NYCC 2016, so we are going to cover a few highlights from the convention.

Justice League Behind the Scenes Preview

Zack Snyder dropped an incredible look at the Justice League shoot, and we got quite a look at all the heroes in action! Let’s talk about what we can look forward to in next years big DC event film!

Doctor Strange Featurette and IMAX Preview

Marvel released a featurette honoring the multi dimensional art of Steve Ditko, and how the film will be taking that vision to new heights of trippy visual effects.

Supergirl CW Premiere

The Girl of Steel returned with record breaking views, and a positive start on its new home at the CW. We got the introduction of the small screen Superman as well, so the panel discuss the premiere and what it means for the future world of the CW.

That’s right, the R-rated Wolverine movie is called Logan, and a bunch of pictures and info has dropped, including pictures of extreme three blade violence. Boyd Holbrook is playing the leader of the Reavers Donald Pierce, and the actress Sienna Novikov is playing Laura Kinney, who will become X-23, the two clawed new Wolverine.

Ninjak and the Valiant Universe!

Valiant has entered the game, with its web series Ninjak vs the Valiant Universe, a six part web series that debuts next year. Produced by Valiant and Bat in the Sun’s Aaron and Sean Schoenke, and starring Michael Row as Ninjak, with Jason David Frank as Bloodshot, and featuring the characters XO Manowar, Archer and Armstrong, the Eternal Warrior, Shadowman, Livewire, and more.

Iron Fist, Luke Cage, The Defenders, and The Punisher

So the entire Defenders cast were onstage at NYCC, and they have a main villain, which just happens to be the one and only Sigourney Weaver! Now the Netflix Marvel Universe is exploding with awesomeness, as we’ve got two incredible seasons of Daredevil, and two amazing series from Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. Now we have Iron Fist in March, and then The Defenders and The Punisher to look forward in 2017.
