20th Century Fox debuted a new red-band trailer for director Matthew Vaughn’s (X-Men: First Class) adaptation of the Mark Millar graphic novel Kingsman: The Secret Service during tonight's series finale of Sons of Anarchy.  The story of Kingsman revolves around a secret spy organization called, appropriately enough, Kingsman, in which Colin Firth’s veteran spy works to recruit and train an unrefined but promising street kid (Taron Egerton).  I'm a fan of Vaughn's previous work (particularly the underrated Stardust) and he looks to be having a hell of a lot of fun here with Kingsman.  The film is essentially an R-rated version of a James Bond film tinged with Vaughn and co-writer Jane Goldman's wicked sense of humor, and all of that is very apparent in this new NSFW trailer.  Moreover, as opposed to a lot of the other bland "young stars on the rise" that Hollywood tries to force into superstardom, Egerton looks to have some genuine charisma and talent.

Check out the excellent new Kingsman: The Secret Service red-band trailer after the jump.  The film also stars Michael Caine, Mark Strong, Jack Davenport, and Mark HamillKingsman: The Secret Service opens in the UK on January 29, 2015 and in the US on February 13, 2015.

Here’s the official synopsis for Kingsman: The Secret Service:

Based upon the acclaimed comic book and directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick Ass, X-Men First Class), Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency’s ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.
