After The Twilight Saga ends for Kristen Stewart this November 16th, she may have a role lined up to star opposite Ben Affleck in Focus.  We previously reported that Affleck was circling a role, and Warner Bros. was looking to fast-track the project once they found a female lead.  It looks like Stewart is their choice.  Focus, written and directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa of Crazy Stupid Love,  tells the story of a “veteran con man who gets involved with a newcomer to the grifter business. They get involved romantically but that becomes perilous in a business where they lie and cheat for a living. The complications of the encounter haunt them when they meet up again in the future.”  Hit the jump for more.

Variety reports that kristen-stewart-focusStewart is in talks to star opposite Affleck as the female lead in Focus. The writer/director duo previously wanted to reunite Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling for the project, but have apparently set their sights on Affleck and Stewart.  While this may not have a huge impact on the way the story is told, it might change the way audiences perceive it.  Gosling is a mere eight years older than Stone, while Affleck is Stewart’s senior by 18 years.  That age divide presumably puts Focus more in the range of Matchstick Men than, say, Bonnie and Clyde.  It will be interesting to see how the filmmakers handle that relationship, should the casting be confirmed.

Stewart can next be seen on screen in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 on November 16th.

For the love of God just give Felicity Jones a freaking lead role, at least she doesn’t act zombified and doesn´t sleep with directors.

What the hell?? From Emma Stone to Kristen Stewart?? Talk about hitting rock bottom!! Seriously, Stewart is in a role that was meant for Stone, this will end up being terrible!

Imagine if Stewart played the lead in EASY A…

There are so many other actresses out there that have emotion, Stewart is just bland…

her acting skills are just awful but her facial expression of a very nasty retarded teenager should do an huge success among recruiters in Hollywood.
