A new Cobain: Montage of Heck clip has gone online. The unique documentary explores the life of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain through his drawings, voice recordings, photos, and home movies. The film has been greeted with plenty of acclaim, and after seeing this clip it’s not hard to see why.
The clip shows the multitude of band names Cobain went through before landing on “Nirvana”, and while none of these names are particularly bad, it’s still interesting to see his process. That being said, I think he could have named the band almost anything and it wouldn’t have mattered. Cobain’s music would have been as just as influential and transformative.
