While it would be nice to get a sequel to The LEGO Movie sooner rather than later, we at least won’t have to wait another year for a follow up to a movies set in the The LEGO Movie universe. Next year, we’ll be getting The LEGO Batman Movie, and yesterday we got the first images with the first trailer hitting tomorrow (it will likely be attached to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice). Today, we’ve got the official logo for the movie, and as you can see, it mostly works in black or maybe very, very, very dark grey.

We still don’t know too much about the plot, although yesterday we learned that part of the film will be in “the ho-hum day-to-day of being Batman and what it’s like to fight crime each day.” Director Chris McKay told USA Today, “Batman is an island onto himself, the only thing he doesn’t have is relationships. We're making About a Boy as directed by (action director) Michael Mann.” Producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller also say that the film will address if Batman can ever be happy, and that the spin-off will acknowledge every era of Batman filmmaking.

Check out the logo below via a tweet from Will Arnett. The LEGO Batman Movie opens February 10, 2017, and also features the voices of Michael Cera as Robin, Zach Galifianakis as The Joker, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, and Mariah Carey as Gotham City’s mayor.
