As we saw with the most recent video blog, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was crushing up against the film’s world premiere. Today, Warner Bros. is live-streaming the red-carpet outside the premiere. There will be a performance of “Song of the Lonely Mountain” from Neil Finn, red carpet interviews, and speeches from the filmmakers. It’s the closest you’re going to get to the premiere unless for you’re physically there right now and reading this on your phone for some inexplicable reason. Look up, strange person.
For everyone else, you can watch the premiere via live stream at home starting at 6:50pm (PST) and be sure to check out the first clip and 20 hi-res images from the film. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey opens December 14th.

Really, really excited for this one! I just hope they find that balance of humor combined with the feel of the LOTR trilogy, which I think they will.
Will they be live streaming from inside the theater? Yes, please.
Hahaha. Yes please indeed.
@ Sam – Yea no kiddin!! Are they gonna actually show the movie?? At this point, I’m kind of thinkin No. Seems a lot of disappointed folks are on the horizon.
