Last week, concept art of Chris Evans as Captain America and Chris Hemsworth as Thor hit the net. As most of you know, we posted the Thor artwork thanks to a Collider reader named “Dan”. While I assumed he was done sending us stuff, he just sent us what he claims is the logo for Captain America: The First Avenger. As you can see, the image looks quite real, with Chris Evans as Captain America aligned with the logo on the page.
Of course with principal photography not starting on director Joe Johnston’s film until the end of this month, things can change. The logo might be a placeholder for now. But, either way, it looks awesome. Of course with Comic-Con around the corner, I’d like to think we might get our first “official” look next month.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m already super excited for both Captain America (July 22, 2011) and Thor (May 6, 2011). I just wish they weren’t so far away from getting released. Let me know what you think about the logo in the comments.
