It was inevitable that the Lost epilogue “The New Man in Charge” would leak online in advance of its official release as a special feature on the upcoming DVD and Blu-rays for Lost: The Complete Sixth and Final Season and Lost: The Complete Collection. Yesterday, we showed you about a minute from the 11-minute epilogue. After watching the full thing, I can tell you that it’s perfunctory and about tying up loose ends (although it still doesn’t manage to get them all). I won’t say any more than that.
Hit the jump to check out the epilogue (before it’s removed entirely, as I predict it will be). Lost: The Complete Sixth and Final Season and Lost: The Complete Collection hit shelves on August 24th.

Awesome! Too bad I don't care……………
SPOILERS AHEAD>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
saw it, even thought the audio was off. Liked it alot, while i do think the hydra video was a little long, it was nice to see a few things. The money was the final scene with Walt. My theory, for anyone who cares, Walt was meant to take over, but Hurley was there when Jack gave it to him. Hurley will mentor Walt for a while and when it is time HUrley will pass it to Walt. Plus Walt will get to see Michael.
Well, that didn't take long … gone already.
didn't get to see it, but up above you can see walt's face. fuck
Go here to watch. http://videogum.com/209692/the-full-12-minute-l…
Have you guys checked out Lost Revised? It's an excellent re-edit of season 6 that removes the sideways world from the storyline. It provides a lot of clarity, and this new clip fits in really nicely with it. http://lostrevised.tumblr.com/about
Anyone who buys the pictured set is a grade-A dimwit lunatic in my book.
Yeah, it got taken down from videogum rather quickly as well. Thing is… I don't care.
*SPOILER AHE… eh, to hell with it, either you're a “Lostie for Life” and you know everything I'm about to say [or you're not a Lostie and, like me, got tricked into watching all of the episodes in the vague hope that SOMEHOW, by the power of Dharma or the physicist's mom or the rich Korean/father of Sun or the rich guy who bought the painting of the black boat... fohkitt, when you can't even tell who the master of the universe is, you KNOW you're (get ready for the big pun...) LOST (tee-hee!!)]
Anyway, I will always pine for more answers/episodes of Smith, EZ Streets, Angel, Terminator: TSCC, and a few more, but the *ONLY* way Lost would have ended satisfactiorally is if they spent the ENTIRE final season alternating between a) black screen with “questions” about the island, the characters, whatever [in the order which they were presented if possible]; and b) answers to those questions, presumably with some nice new shots of the characters. For example: S.6, Ep.1, Opening scene – black screen with white, centralised writing saying “1) Why could Locke move his legs when he crashed on the island?”; Scene 2 – cut to people acting out whatever the answer is, whether it's because of the “magnatism” of the island, or baby's can't be born but people can't die (or be sick) of natural causes due to a trade off some dude made 150 years ago with another dude, or WTF ever!! I'm sorry – just because you find a linguistic loophole to justify your 5.99 years of saying “this isn't heaven or purgatory, and everyone isn't dead” when that's EXACTLY what it was doesn't make you a genius, it makes you a goat-fohkker that BEST be in hiding because people are gonna be gunning for your azz for the next 4 or 5 decades!
And to add to thebearpaw's comment about “anybody buying the pictured set is dimwitted and a lunatic”, what about S.5's Blu-Ray release? It was obviously for technophiles that loved the show… so you include a VHS CASSETTE?? Why not just introduce some silver nitrate silent film reel that only plays on Kinescopes? And include a reel-to-reel “sound recording” so that the Kinescope loop could have “synched sound”. SIX YEARS of my life that I'm never going to get back!!
so you liked the mysteries more than the characters wow you did not get the point of lost
