I recently popped in the fourth season of “Lost” on DVD as I try to catch myself up on stuff I may have forgot in the seven months its been off the air. Not only was I totally sucked back in, but I headed over to the official website at ABC.com to see if there may be any new Alternate Reality Games (the one they did before season four was quite good), trailers, images, or anything to sate my appetitebefore “Lost” returns on January 21st.
I didn’t find anything new but I did find a nice flashback to the old. ABC has set up a “Lost Showdown” where, by way of a bracket-system, they’re asking viewers to vote on their favorite moments from the show’s first four seasons. Going through, you’re reminded (just in case you forgot) about what a special show this is and how it manages greatness on a regular basis.
Personally, I’m hoping that “Don’t Tell Me What I Can’t Do!” wins it all. Yes, the plane crash chaos from the pilot got everyone’s attention, but that reveal of Locke in the wheelchair was when this show signaled that it was something special.
