When we posted the first trailer for Love and Other Drugs, the romantic dramedy led by Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway, one comment remarked, “Show me the whole movie why don’t you?” Turns out there may still be plenty of plot details under wraps. 20th Century Fox has released a new trailer, and in doing so revealed an entirely new (and arguably major) subplot absent from trailer number one. If you don’t mind a bit of spoilage, check out the new trailer after the jump.
Love and Other Drugs opens on November 24th. Here’s the official synopsis:
Hathaway portrays Maggie, an alluring free spirit who won’t let anyone – or anything – tie her down. But she meets her match in Jamie (Gyllenhaal), whose relentless and nearly infallible charm serve him well with the ladies and in the cutthroat world of pharmaceutical sales. Maggie and Jamie’s evolving relationship takes them both by surprise, as they find themselves under the influence of the ultimate drug: love.
Via Vulture:
So yeah, Maggie has Parkinson’s. Does that affect your desire to see it:
a) positively
b) negatively
c) not at all

Either way, a MUCH better trailer.
Na, I still feel the same way. I don't want to see a movie about Jake G. banging a bunch of hot chicks then gets rejected by the one he really wants but he still at least gets to bang (sick or not). If he gets her at the end yay. If he doesn't who cares, he's just going to bang some more hot chicks. It's exactly how I felt about UP IN THE AIR.
This trailer is absolutely wonderful ! It has a quality feel of Jerry Maguire/ Up In The Air with plenty of more sex. The only negative it reveals a little too much. I'm sold. Besides this film is already getting rave reviews from the test screenings .
