Things are looking up for the biopic Lovelace. The film has finally locked its lead, with Amanda Seyfried set to star as the titular Linda Lovelace, and Peter Sarsgaard is in talks to play Lovelace’s lover/ex-husband Chuck Traynor. Howl directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman are onboard to direct the film and production is set to get underway in January. Courtesy of the American Film Market, we’ve got a promo poster and an official logline for the film, which gives us an idea of its direction. It sounds like it’ll center on Lovelace’s work in Deep Throat, as well as her eventual eschewing of the pornography business, as well as her tempestuous relationship with Traynor.
