When Robert Rodriguez first announced firm plans for a Machete sequel at Comic-Con a few years back, he added that he was envisioning a trilogy that would be capped by a space-set Machete film.  Judging by the poor box office receipts for Machete Kills (it finished with a paltry $14 million worldwide), a third film seems highly unlikely, but we have a little preview of what might have been by way of a trailer for Machete Kills Again…In Space.  The fake trailer played in front of Machete Kills, but seeing as how very few people actually saw the sequel in theaters, it has now landed online for all to see.

Hit the jump to watch the trailer, which features appearances by Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Alex Vega, Lady Gaga, and a couple of other celebrity “cameos.”

seriously Robert Rodriguez, I liked el mariachi and desperado enough like a decade ago, and parts of Sin City were ok too – but your shtick is really getting tiresome.

Same with Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Although I still watch everything the guys do, even as a fan I must admit that they lost their spark. And Rodriguez perhaps as well, but just perhaps because I haven’t seen Machete Kills yet. There is still hope. Rodriguez has Sin City 2 under his belt, Exp3ndables is nearly finished. I’ll give the guys a second, third and maybe never a last chance. Too many good memories.
      To each their own.

Wait, people don’t think this is amazing? Haven’t seen the second Machete… but this looks incredible.

I was laughing my ass off. I’m always down for something like this!

it’s true though…Robert Rodriguez is pandering to the DVD market…why he’s releasing these kinds of movies in theaters is beyond my understand. It’s no wonder this second one didn’t do so well. I myself was a huge fan of the first and his style, I even loved parts of the second one…but I don’t have to be a stick in the mud to realize that it wasn’t going to reach that far. The demographic only accounts for probably 10% of the entire movie going public. Teenagers and man children between 20 and 29. TOPS. Maybe the weird quirky girlfriends of these guys paid to get in too but thats very few….So not surprising. Machete 3 NO DOUBT will be a direct to DVD release, if anything at all. In conclusion, Alexa Vega. Oh my goodness..I am yours. Take me now.

I like Alexa Vega’s ass in a thong as much as anyone but Machete Kills sucked. Sucked hard. But as I was saying, I like seeing Alexa Vega’s ass in a thong as much as anyone and I look forward to hating the third film while looking at Alexa Vega’s ass in a thong.

Rodriguez creepy relationship with working with her as a child and then getting her as nude as he can as an adult not withstanding.

Alexa Vega. Jiggle. That’s all I have to say about that.

Who is the babe I the starting part of the trailer?

  • Grow Up, Fucking crybabies

Fucking crybabies…. Its a movie that pays homage to those campy action movies of the 80′s. Holy shit, you people are ignorant. None of you have realized that RR and Quentin Tarantino do this all the time? Its awesome seeing these tributes to good movies as opposed to Star Wars Ep. 7(fucking milking it out) or some shitty drama featuring a sparkling fucking vampire and his 15 year old lover…..
