We have four pieces of casting news for your reading pleasure. First up, Variety reports that Anthony Mackie (The Hurt Locker) is in talks to star opposite Sam Worthington in the cop-thriller Man on a Ledge. The story centers on a female psychologist and a former NYPD officer who threatens to jump to his death. No word on what role Mackie would be playing in the film. Mackie was recently in talks to star in the next Mission: Impossible film but the role ultimately went to his Hurt Locker co-star Jeremy Renner.

According to Arrow in the Head, Emma Bell (Frozen) will play the female lead in Steve Quale’s 5nal Destination. No word on if she’s also the token “vision-survivor” who talks everyone away from the big disaster so that they can be murdered in a more gruesome fashion at a later date. The film co-stars P.J. Byrne, Tony Todd, David Koechner, Meghan Ory, Nicholas D’Agosto, Ellen Wroe, Arlen Escarpeta and Miles Fisher and is slated to open in 3D on August 26, 2011.
Moving on, Variety reports that Monica Bellucci will join Robert De Niro in the Italian romance film Manual of Love 3. As we previously reported, De Niro will play divorced American professor living in Rome. Bellucci will play his character’s love interest.
Finally, THR reports that Jessica McNamee is set to play the estranged younger sister of Rachel McAdams’ character in The Vow. The plot is based on the real-life story of “a newlywed New Mexico couple (McAdams and Channing Tatum) who end up in a car crash. The wife is put in a coma, and when she comes to — without any memory of her husband or their marriage — the husband attempts to wins her heart again.” Awwww.
