Today is June 16, 2016 and it’s another Collider Jedi Council hosted by Kristian Harloff, with John Campea, Tiffany Smith and Mark Ellis!
The Council looks at the continuing saga of rumors that have been making the rounds in regards to the Rogue One: Star Wars Story movie. This time, it’s Mads Mikkelsen who is doing the talking; who plays an unconfirmed role in the movie, rumored to be the scientist behind the Death Star. Because there are so many stories out there alleging the production is in the trouble, the Council here note how nice it is that an actor is coming to the defense of their director, with Mikkelsen praising Godzilla director Gareth Edwards.

The Council discuss this story and how amazing it is to consider.

Naturally, many people talked about his scores, with Star Wars being mentioned a number of times. But what’s the most interesting here is when George Lucas showed up to not only show John Williams with praise, crediting him with much of the success for Star Wars, but Lucas also confirmed that he is, in fact, retired from making movies.
