With director Zack Snyder‘s Man of Steel opening June 14th, Warner Bros. has provided us with 47 high-resolution images from the film.  While many of these images have been previously released, there are a number of new images and they definitely look awesome.  I especially like the one of Christopher Nolan on set with Zack Snyder.  If you’re not aware, Nolan produced the film.  Hit the jump to check them out.

Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fisburne, Antje Traue, and Russell Crowe.

      • prathap

he is one of the biggest jackasses in bollywood and one of the most mediocore actor of all time! only a dumbass indian like aditya would vote for an actor like that!

      • Aditya Shriramwar

Thanks for all your good words prathap. The bonding of Salman and Nolan is inevitable.

      • Prathap

So is salmans dick in your mouth

        KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANN!!

    • chandler Bing

Shut up asshole. You’re making us look stupid.

    • Person

most random comment I’ve ever seen on this site, but I love it haha… (shameless Sallu fan btw)

    • Varun Hk

yo, dickface, that retard’s not worth jack shit. He would not even land the role of an extra in Nolan’s movies.

    • Sorry guys

Hi everyone. I know I’ve trolled you all pretty hard for the last while but it was for your own good so you wouldn’t get your hopes up about this movie too much and be disappointed like I was with Rises: here are some early reactions tweeted by bloggers from an early screening:
“I haven’t seen Man Of Steel yet, but from those that have (and are under embargo) I’ve heard it’s abysmal. 4 or 5 said go in with way, way lowered expectation, and that they’ve removed all sense of character from the film”

so, a movie about a guy learning he’s an alien and growing to become a hero to protect the earth should keep said hero on the sideline and shove the female in the spotlight? That’s funny.

      • Samuel

Its actually not what they are all saying. That seems like one person’s response. Latinospost says that the reviews are generally positive. Go look it up.

Why is everyone here such a negative ninny?

  • RIC

    Caption for the Snyder/Nolan picture

    In their heads:
Zach (smiling)- “please let him believe I’m a competent director”
Chris (grinning)- “he has no idea what the hell he’s doing”

REGARDLESS, MAN OF STEEL will succeed.

    • Ernest

      What really happened:

Snyder: “I tried the suit myself, yesterday”

Nolan: “How did it look like?”

Snyder: ” Like this Adam West guy,the only muscle that did shine through the suit was my one-pack!”

Nolan: ” Guess why I gave my batsuit some armor? I always look fabulous with it.

      Snyder: “Dude, you’re a genius.

Nolan: ” Tell that to the oscar committee!”

      • Additional dialogue

Nolan: “Blimey squire, don’t try too hard now, guv. I’ve learned that he audiences loves to be shat upon what what. Just like I like it when my brother jon jon pisses in my mouth and makes it taste like asparagus.”

Snyder: “Totes Gnarley brah. Hey brah, peep dis. For dis scene I have like one of those brain things that like shows you stuff dat wasn’t there before.”

        Nolan: “You mean an idea?”

Snyder: “Totes brah, slap skins brah. I meant an eye dealer. Anyway, so dis scene is like Supes and Lois lo get jiggy wit in but da twist is its in super super slow mo wit some Leonard Conan on da soundtrack. But then, we speed it ups brah, super fast mo.”
Nolan: “Super fastmo is the nickname my wife/beard gives me in the bed, what what.”
        Snyder: “Lol brahs.”

      • Murdoch

I’m glad that guy you made up to pretend like you weren’t actually asking everyone to piss in your mouth has finally revealed himself to be you all along. Great job, 007. Now go drown yourself in a urinal.

      • lol@fanboys

Lol@ murdoch. You’re gotten to brah. Have fun sleeping alone at night for the rest of the in your red cape and superman jam jams, lulz.

      • lol@fanboys

But on a more serious note, Murdoch: Do you by any chance know if there is a Chris Nolan impersonator that i can hire to come to my house, gather my family in the living room, drop his pants and start pissing in my open mouth while yelling “ACTION”? I’d really like that, in fact, i’m pretty sure that it’ll be the best birthday ever! I’m willing to pay $300 cash. $350 if he can make it taste like asparagus.

      • DG

Dude wow I’ll fucking piss in your mouth for $300. I get $300 AND get to piss in your annoying mouth, that’s a win-win. Fuck it I’ll even eat a bucket of asparagus before hand for another easy $50. I got the Nolan wig and my accent is on point so lemme know wasup.

      • Chris Nolan

Thank you, guv! Finally someone that is willing to take my brother Jon Jon up on his offer. You see Jon Nolan copies and pastes this comment when anyone criticizes me because he loves me ever so much he does but he’s genuinely offering the above bargain. For an extra fifty may I watch your urination and masturbate while wearing a Michael Caine Mask?

      • Random Bystander

This is the second time I’ve seen that exact comment. Not enough exposure the first time?

  • tonymatthews

Seems like a perfect Lois Lane!

    • prathap

please i could mention a hundred actresses who would have been perfect for lois!

      • http://www.pcass.co.uk Andrew Shaw

Go on then. Name 100 working, age-appropriate actresses that could play Lois Lane.

      • JayF

This is what we call troll owning. Well done.

      • Prathap

        Fuck yourself please.

      • R-Blaze

        someone is mad.

      • Prathap

Sigh I could go on forever with the list but I’m not gonna waste my time typing it for a bunch of worthless trolls like yourselves

      • http://www.pcass.co.uk Andrew Shaw

You’ve escalated from 100 to infinity. Bold. But since you won’t even bother to do 100, I’ll make it easy on you: Name 20.

      • Prathap

Hey everybody entitled to their opinion. Just because I don’t feel Amy’s right for the part doesn’t make me a troll. Just putting that out there

      • Random Bystander

The only way you’re gonna stop being shit on is by making a list.

      • Prathap

Hey all I was saying is they could have gotten an actress who looks like the character that’s all. No need to get your panties in a wad

      • Random Bystander

Firstly, my panties are completely unwaded, so don’t worry your precious little head on that matter. Secondly, they don’t need to get an actress who looks more like Lois, they could just make Amy Adams look more like her, and the way you were saying it was that she isn’t right for the part, which I do believe that there would be better suited actresses for the part though it doesn’t actually bother me, but as you’ve just pointed out, you think she’s not right because she doesn’t look the part, which is just a dumb reason. Guess what, neither does Laurence Fishburne.

      • Prathap

They could have gone for someone like evangeline lily or Rachel weisz for the role. And FYI i am a fan of Amy Adams. As for laewrence fishburne it doesn’t matter if they cast a white or black actor since perry whites character isn’t specified to be played by a white actor only

      • Random Bystander

I’m just gonna skip my opinions of your casting. I never said you weren’t a fan of her, I was criticising what appears to be you reasoning, and I was making a point with Laurence Fishburne that he also doesn’t look like the traditional portrayal of the character.

      • Prathap

Look at electro and nick fury

      • Random Bystander

Look at Ultimate Nick Fury, and Jamie Fox as Electro is interesting but I’m not sure it’s appropriate casting (because of his acting, not because he’s black). Overall, you’re kind of furthering my side.

      • Prathap

I was never was a fan of Jamie foxxs acting but after django, I have changed my opinion of him. Hope Marc hasn’t botched it by casting him Paul giamatti as rhino

      • Random Bystander

It’s not like I don’t like Jamie Fox (although I prefer him in comedies, not necessarily comedic roles, just in comedies) I just don’t think he was right for the part. I agree with you on Giamatti.

      • Prathap

Hope hope they don’t kill of gwen Stacey in this one…

      • Random Bystander

If they don’t they’ll probably do it in the next one.

      • prathap

i hope they are making batman superman movie after this instead of justice league. they should definitely adapt worlds finest

  • El Alto

I assume, like Batman, Superman, and Spider-Man Nolan has a closet filled with identical suits and shirts.

  • sense11

    Amy Adams :)

The pic of Cavill and Crowe together has me very curious…

  • Lance

Both Zack and Christopher have created more wonderful moviegoing experiences than the embittered posters here ever will, or ever could.

    • come on bud

      Ladies and Gentleman…Zack Snyder’s Mom!

      • Dude, seriously

You can’t do it. You don’t know the first thing about how to make a movie good.

Oh sure, you’ve probably got “ideas” about what should go into a superhero movie. Which is really just stuff you pulled from the comics you read…

But that’s not coming up with your own ideas. And you don’t understand there has to be an adaptation process from comics to the big screen. You don’t get that. That’s why you don’t understand the choices people with actual talent have made.

      • lol

Living vicariously through other people’s accomplishments is sad. Lol.

      • lol

Also, does anybody know if there is a Chris Nolan impersonator that i can hire to come to my house, gather my family in the living room, drop his pants and start pissing in my open mouth while yelling “ACTION”? I’d really like that, in fact, i’m pretty sure that it’ll be the best birthday ever! I’m willing to pay $300 cash. $350 if he can make it taste like asparagus.

      • Chris Nolan

Please take time and consider the above offer in earnest. You see Jon Nolan copies and pastes this comment when anyone criticizes me because he loves me ever so much he does but he’s genuinely offering the above bargain. I would also like to watch watch your urination and masturbate while wearing a Michael Caine Mask. I like to talk in a gravelly voice and yell “WHERE’S THE ASPARAGUS!!! WHERE IS IT!!!!!” while our lovely tea party plays out.

      • Random Bystander

He has some issues “Mr Nolan”. Lack of originality is one of them, as is overcompensation. He also overvalues his own opinion and he’s an aggressively homophobic closeted homosexual.

      • ladies and gentleman

Ladies and Gentleman …Zack Snyder’s dad!

      • Random Bystander

        UNORIGINAL! BAM! Nailed it.

      • lol

Lol, so gotten to. You’re also unoriginal dipshit. And. this is going to blow your mind, Snyder didn’t event the character of superman you fucking twat, he’s leeching off the creativity of others like Nolan did with Batman. Snyder came up with an original concept and it was fucking Sucker Punch. How can you be so stupid and unaware? Can you really not see the irony in you defending hacks on the grounds of originality when they are adapting a 75 year old property that’s have 5 previous feature films adapting and countless iterations in comic books. ARE YOU ACTUALLY THAT STUPID?

May I say that there was never a point where I was actually
defending Nolan or Snyder, nor did I ever say I liked their stuff, all I ever
did was correct YOU and point out YOUR flaws because you’re a fuckhead. I can
only assume you think I’m a fanboy because you’re speaking shit about them and
I’m giving you shit after you giving them shit, but alas; no. I am not a fanboy,
Nolan fucked up TDKR by having too much input in the story and Snyder gave us
Sucker Punch. I was just reading about Man of Steel because I was bored and saw
a comment riddled with misguided hate, self-rightiousness, a superiority
complex, conceit and “humour” that doesn’t reach any level of funny.
You could’ve been commenting on pretty much anything and I would’ve targeted
you. It wasn’t hard to find you, I didn’t even have to look. Every Man of Steel
page I went on you posted the exact same comment about paying someone to piss
in your mouth in the name of Christopher Nolan, a man you allegedly hate. You
tried to deflect everything I said by accusing me of being insecure; nope, concerned
with the opinions of others; nope, a blind fanboy; wrong again. Not once did
you accept anything pinned on you by anyone, even the clear jokes that no one
would’ve taken seriously. You are a very sad person and I’m done wasting my
        time on you, for now.

      • Random Bystander

No one “evented” Superman. I wasn’t defending Snyder by saying you’re unorginal, I was insulting you by saying you’re unoriginal. Even if I was defending him, it would be hypocrisy not irony. There’s a difference between adapting something, as most people do, and literally doing the exact same thing over and over as you were doing. And Sucker Punch was shit. I think I covered everything.

      • lol

LOL at your blind fanboyism. Behold:

I don’t know…this film looks good, but like all of Snyder’s films it could just be a very mesmerizing pile of crap.

    • poppincherry

I’m sure it will be. It looks like shit. Same ass tired actors and another batch of aliens blowing up 6 square city blocks while out of shape people go running. And of course no other countries in the movie will be reporting the armageddon in this because this type of shit only happens to Americans. LOL!

Wondering if the shot of him as a kid with the cape on is symbolic of anything other than the obvious foreshadowing. Wonder if it’s something he remembers once finds the “Fortress” and gets his suit.

  • Northern Star

For a long time, I was only too ready to write this film off as unnecessary (surely the Donner film(s) said it all or so I thought?) and just dismiss it out of hand… but the excitement around this film is now palpable and tangible, people seem to be genuinely very, very excited about this, and that excitement is infectious to say the least!

The more I read about and see of this film has convinced me that they may just have a genuinely original new take on an iconic character that’s totally justifies a brand new adaptation for today’s world. All the footage seen thus far is genuinely captivating and simply gorgeous to behold, if the final film holds up to the promise and delivers an experience that’s engaging, emotional, exciting, and downright spectacular but with genuine heart and pathos, I think it’s fair to say we could be about to see something truly very special indeed…

I have total faith in both Chris Nolan, David Goyer, and most crucially Zack Snyder, the latter’s adaptation of ‘Watchmen’ was truly exceptional and second to none (‘The Dark Knight’ notwithstanding), and I’ve got a real good feeling that with ‘Man of Steel’ Snyder has swung for the fences and very possibly hit it out of the park!

I remain cautiously optimistic but pretty darn excited, bring on June 14th… BRING IT ON!

The ones with Nolan visiting the set are kind of lame to be honest; this is all Snyder but WB is giving Nolan a Producer credit to draw attention and these pics are the same

And he also came in a suit? Proper English attire at all times. I bet he even goes to bed wearing a seville row two piece. LOL!

nolan is the reason this movie got made dude. he called robinov at WB and said david goyer has this story and he wanted to produce it.

I’m from the old school and back then story meant everything. So you can have 250 million dollars worth of killer CG on the screen but if the story ain’t there you ain’t got shit. Superman 1 with Chris Reeves was is a classic. It was an unassuming, story driven powerhouse. But this new BS? God help me.
99% over the top CG and 1% story.

    • Ozweego

Back to the retirement home with you Grandpa. And eat your peas!!!

    • Jon

Story powerhouse? I mean, we all have fond memories of Superman 1, but go back and watch it again. It does a nice job of giving us Clark’s backstory, but once he gets to Metropolis, it falls apart. Lex Luthor plans on sinking California by launching missiles on the San Andreas fault? Do you think that shit would fly with audiences today? People would say it’s ridiculous. Because it is. And…and…Superman turns back time by reversing the rotation of the Earth?! That makes no sense at all. There’s no explanation of why he has a suit…he just has it. There’s the scene where he takes Lois flying with him and she is magically gliding next to him even though in real life she’d be hanging there. That or he’d rep her arm off. People hold it up like it’s this masterpiece. It’s not, it was great for it’s time but if we scrutinize it like we do with movies today, it doesn’t hold up. Audiences weren’t nearly as cynical then as they are now. Now, we always find something to pick at.
