Two new TV spots for Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel have gone online.  The first features a heart-to-heart about the title hero’s two fathers, making this quite possibly the most perfect movie to ever take your dad to on Father’s Day weekend. (Coincidence? I think not!)  The second TV spot is a bit less fuzzy as Superman confronts those who fear what they can’t control.

Starring Henry Cavill, Michael Shannon, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne and Russell Crowe.  Man of Steel opens June 14th.  Hit the jump for two new TV spots.

Check out the two new TV spots below:

Here’s the official synopsis for Man of Steel:

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as “Superman,” not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.

The 9th TV spot is the best amongst all. It’s just the way Kevin Costner delivered those lines… made me teared up.

I wanted to go into this seeing as little of the film as possible and I feel bad everytime I watch one of these tv spots, featurettes, or trailers. For about 5 seconds. Then I get all giddy and excited like a kid again.

Tv spot #9 made me so excited for this movie, the shot of Henry Cavill screaming is amazing.

stop hating and make a movie of your own so we can complain about how shitty your movie looks. you’re going based off of what might be early versions of the film and even still the quality is looking far better than a lot of big budget movies to date. quit your ranting!

Featurettes, behind the scene, location visits, set visits, tv spots, trailers etc. practically half the movie it’s been seen already, at what point does all this become ridiculous pointless spoiling of a movie ? long ago me thinks.
