We’ve got a couple more casting stories to share. First up, Mark Webber (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World) and Chloe Sevigny have been set to topline the “sexually-charged” pic Panarea. The film follows a young married couple with intimacy issues who find themselves vacationing on an exotic Italian island where their commitment will be tested and reaffirmed. The script was written by Adam Mansbach, who is the author of the hilariously wrong bestseller Go the Fuck to Sleep.Adam Bhala Lough (Weapons) will direct the pic, and Jim Jarmusch is onboard as a producer. I’m a fan of Webber, and Mansbach’s involvement piques my interest, so it should be fun to see how this project turns out. Hit the jump for news concerning the sci-fi thriller Vigilandia.Additionally, Variety reports that Game of Thrones star Lena Headey has been set as the female lead opposite Ethan Hawke in Vigilandia. Plot details are extremely scarce for the thriller, but Universal plans to produce the pic on a small budget akin to the horror-thriller Insidious. James DeMonaco (Little New York) will direct from a script he wrote, and production is set to get underway early next month. Headey stars as the sinister Cercei Lannister on HBO’s smash hit fantasy series Game of Thrones. The second season the show begins April 1st, with production on the third season poised to begin this summer. The actress will also be seen in the upcoming sci-fi film Dredd.
