Thousands of folks sat in Hall H all of last Saturday for one reason: to see the Marvel presentation. The crowd was hungry for a first look at Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor, and (in the worst kept secret of the Con) the cast of The Avengers. Now, Marvel has put up video of brief moment from the panels and signings for Captain America and Thor online. They’ve also thrown up the tail-end of the introduction of The Avengers cast, but it won’t capture how nuts the crowd went at this moment. It was the perfect way to wrap up all three days of Hall H at Comic-Con. Everyone was on their feet and cheering their lungs out. You’ll hear that in the video, but there’s no substitute for the electricity of the room during the grand finale of the presentation.
Hit the jump to check out snippets of the panels (but not the footage that was shown). Thor opens on May 6, 2011 and you can click here to read our coverage of the panel. Captain America: The First Avenger opens on July 22, 2011 and you can click here to read our coverage of this panel. Finally, The Avengers is set to open on May 4, 2012 and you can read our coverage of that announcement here.
