Matt Bomer (USA’s White Collar) has signed up to show off the goods in director Steven Soderbergh’s Magic Mike. Bomer will star alongside Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, and Alex Pettyfer in the pic which is loosely based on Tatum’s own experiences as a male stripper in Tampa. Reid Carolin wrote the script for Magic Mike and Soderbergh has said that he will use Saturday Night Fever as a model while crafting the film. Deadline broke the news of Bomer’s inclusion, however, it stops short of including any details regarding his character. Bomer can next be seen opposite Amanda Seyfried, Justin Timberlake, and Cillian Murphy in writer/director Andrew Niccol’s In Time. That film hits theaters on October 28th.
