Today, we are pleased to debut a couple of the extras on the upcoming Maze Runner: The Death Cure Blu-ray. The conclusion to the Maze Runner finds Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and his friends working to take down WCKD and breaking into the Last City.

In the featurette, we get a close-up on Minho (Ki Hong Li) and his journey throughout the trilogy as well as how this film aims to encapsulate the trials and tribulations of the entire trilogy rather than just how this movie just stands alone. “I want to do the fans justice,” says director Wes Ball. He elaborates on how he wants the conclusion of the trilogy to be satisfying to everyone who has gone on the journey.

As for the deleted scene, it’s a bit of connective tissue where Brenda (Rosa Salazar) tells Thomas that she has the serum, but Lawrence (Walton Goggins) and his crew have cleared out. It’s meant to set up Lawrence’s attack on the Last City, but the movie works well enough without it, and you can see why it was cut from the finished film to help save a bit of time.

Check out the featurette and deleted scene below. The film is now available on Digital, and will be available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on April 24th. Those who buy a physical copy will receive a 24-page prequel origins comic book written by screenwriter T.S. Nowlin. Additionally, if you decide to pick up the full trilogy box set (also available on April 24th), you’ll get the comic and if you get the Blu-ray, you’ll also receive an exclusive Maze Runner bandanna chosen by fans.

Here’s the brief synopsis for Maze Runner: The Death Cure:

In the epic conclusion to the MAZE RUNNER saga, Thomas leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final mission. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all! Anyone who makes it out alive will get answers to the questions the Gladers have been asking since they first arrived in the maze.
