Do you live in the Los Angeles area? Would you like to see a free screening of director Wes Ball’s Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials almost three weeks before it opens in theaters followed by a Q&A with some of the cast and the filmmakers? If you answered yes to these questions I’m about to make you very happy.
Thanks to our partners at Fox, we’re giving away a ton of tickets to a free screening Monday night at the Landmark Theater at the Westside Pavilion Mall. After the screening ends, I’ll be moderating a panel with some of the cast and the filmmakers. As a big fan of The Maze Runner, I’m very excited to see how the sequel raises the stakes for the cast, and I’ve heard the film delivers on all fronts.
If you’d like to win tickets to the screening (you and 1 guest), click this link and enter your info. One entry per person. Winners will be notified on Friday afternoon. If you win tickets, please print out what we send you and bring it with you on Monday night to get in.
For those who don’t know, the sequel picks up right where the first film left off. Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and the other surviving Gladers are out of the Maze and being whisked off to a mystery facility in the desert, presumably for their safety. That’s where they meet Aiden Gillen‘s Janson, the man in charge of the compound who insists on knowing what side is Thomas on. Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials hits theaters on September 18th and also stars Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Kaya Scodelario, Giancarlo Esposito, Ki Hong Lee, Rosa Salazar, and Jacob Lofland.
Here’s the official synopsis for Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials:
In this next chapter of the epic “Maze Runner” saga, Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and his fellow Gladers face their greatest challenge yet: searching for clues about the mysterious and powerful organization known as WCKD. Their journey takes them to the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Teaming up with resistance fighters, the Gladers take on WCKD’s vastly superior forces and uncover its shocking plans for them all.
