Megan Fox in Talks to Join Judd Apatow’s KNOCKED UP Spin-Off Starring Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann

     March 16, 2011

Megan Fox is in negotiations to join Judd Apatow’s Knocked Up spin-off starring Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann.  THR reports that Fox’s role is currently unknown and no plot has currently been revealed for the film other than Rudd and Mann will reprise their bickering husband-and-wife characters from the 2007 comedy.  The under-wraps film is currently set to be released on June 1, 2012.

This is the latest comedy that Fox has signed on to.  She previously boarded Jennifer Westfeldt’s ensemble comedy Friends with Kids with Jon Hamm, Adam Scott, and Kristen Wiig.  Fox’s latest film, Passion Play, was picked up at the Toronto Film Festival despite abysmal reviews.  Play, which co-stars Mickey Rourke and Bill Murray, will be released directed to DVD.  While Fox hasn’t landed a hit in a while, she can be charming when given the right material. Hopefully this new supporting work in these upcoming comedies will help to re-establish her.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Megan Fox big time…….but just not for her “acting” abilities. Its not too late yet, but I’m betting that she wishes she didn’t walk off from Transformers 3

Really? Another Michael Bay movie wouldn’t let her do anything “acting” wise anyway. Just like every other female lead in a Michael Bay movie. Outside of TF, she’s been nothing worse than decent. Fine in a small part in how to lose friends and really quite good in (the under rated) jennifer’s body.

One way to look at it is, had she still be working with him, she could have been in the place of that extra who had her skull cut open.

Megan didn’t walk off of the Transformers 3 project…she was fired. Why? Simply because she referenced Michael Bay to Hitler when discussing his directing methods. Of course she was only joking but the director took it in the worst way possible and replaced her with a no name actress just so he could have the last laugh. True story. Now watch this fairly decent actress slip into obscurity because of Michael Bay’s ego.

Cool. She is too hot to be off screen.
