I don’t really understand the appeal of fan fiction, but there’s a lot on the Internet where the appeal confuses me. For those who don’t know, “fan fiction” is where a fan takes a property they like and writes their own story for it. They’re not writing on spec to try and get a job on the show or anything like that. They’re just writing it because they’re a fan. A subset of fan fiction is “slash-fic” where the author makes two characters have sex regardless of their relationship in the property. On VH1, The Twilight Saga co-star Michael Sheen read some fan-fic that closely borders on slash-fic. The absolute conviction of his reading is what makes it hilarious. What’s even better is that I think if Sheen read the actual Twilight books, they would be just as funny if not funnier.
Hit the jump to check out the video. Sheen will reprise his role as Aro in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, which opens November 18th.

The headline makes me laugh. Any less of an actor and that headline would be straight up libel.
It’d be great if the Rifftrax guys could get him on their next Twilight riff
Sheen is in that rarefied air where he seemingly can do no wrong, even when he’s trapped in dreck. He, Geoffrey Rush and Bill Nighy should form a club.
it shows that the actor has respect for the material that he is starring on. even if the material isn’t that much respectable(but what do i know, i haven’t read any of the books, and i thought the first one and second one especially sucked big time).
anyways, can we forgive Michael Sheen? he’s one of the most terrific brit actors. even in Tron Legacy, an over the top role, but somehow, one of the good things about that film aside from the visuals and the daft punk score.
His usual dire line reading. It would have been funny if he had tried it with one of his crappy american accents he tries and fails at.
I’m sure he’s into slash. Here’s his boner on the TRON set @ 2:20

Guess he’s really impressed with garrett hedlund. lol.
As a writer of FanFiction I feel the need to inform you that the terminology you have used within this article is wrong. A slash FanFic is one where the main couple is two men (femslash is two women). What you are implying within the article, in the world of FanFiction is known as non-canon couples/pairings.
I read the FanFic that Michael Sheen read out and in no way can it be described as slash, not even what you consider slash to mean. It is canon pairing as the main couple is Bella and Edward!
In regards to the video I thought Michael Sheen made it sound much more raunchy than the first chapter actually was, however I did get a good giggle out of it. You can’t help but smile at him.
