The Resident Evil franchise continues to eschew erosion, with fourth entry Resident Evil: Afterlife netting a series high $28 million opening weekend. Star Milla Jovovich noted the success, and promised another sequel to Vulture:
“This new Resident Evil is the first one to ever open at number one worldwide. It’s the biggest movie in the franchise. So we’re definitely going to make another one. We’ve been talking to a lot of fans on Twitter and stuff, so it’s probably going to be one of the first movies where we really talk to fans to see what they want, and what characters they want to see. It’s going to be a more interactive process.”

I like to see Leon, as a baddie controlling Jill – with a wife of his called Ecxella Gionne and has Jill controlled to brainwash – his former partner. Then Alice’s real name is called Ada Wong – as her name ( Alice ) was a fake to cover up Umbrella. As revielled by Leon, when she went to College with her and were boyfriend and girlfiend for 2 years, then split up. But in this one they’ll just stay, as friends – but no sorry, no way near friend’s if he is a head of umbrella and wife Ecxella is Umbrella’s headmistress. Because Alice ( now called Ada ) and he’ll be enemys, to stop him after she kill’s wesker at the begining of Re 5. Also, you never know, he may have – Carlos resurected, then Alice ( now Ada will remind him – that it was her love interest after Matt ). Then Carlos help’s Alice to kill Leon – WHEN Leon mutates. Then Carlos and Alice will start afresh – even if Carlos has blonde hair and Alice remind’s him and Carlos get’s to know it’s Ada not – Alice.
With Chris and Claire, they find thier parents and are re uninted with them.
We need a big end to the franchise, a f*cking total war against all these zombies, with a ton of extras and tanks and fighters and weapons in a real big set like Washington, D.C. or New York, (and please, do it in the REAL New York instead that Toronto-faking-New York set)… Paul, please, make it possible before Paramount release World War Z and piss you off!
They should do one in space. With Muppets.

RE4 seemed like a filler movie until RE5. 3D seemed to make the storyline disappear a lot.

Yeah but each succeeding installment earns more money than he last one did. Plus event though they’ve gotten more iconographic and impressionistic its still fun to watch especially if its happens to be your cup of tea.

I am a big fan, and have seen most of the films “in-retro”.. (Meaning via netflix). With theater Screen. Loved the latest installment. Yes its typical fanboy stuff, but its fun to watch every 3 years or so…because its a story that never ends….it just mutates.
I think that’s why they always “earn money” because they are just plain fun for the “audience” to watch.
They should start a TV show on SyFy as continuation because I see the end of the Zombie situation as a retro virus which changes everyone into vampires who are stronger, deader, and better looking than the Zombies, plus the super vamps are civilized and they end up being the ultimate weapon against the Zombs which restores order to the world.

I’m hoping there will be another sequel since the movie ended on a cliffhanger. They are the best zombie movies and keep getting better. It’s a little far fetched though with the guy dodging bullets. Hopefully those copters at the end are not going to kill everyone. I’m not sure how they will get out of it. I suppose alice will end up explaining that everyone was killed and only she survived. What is the ultimate purpose of that guy. I guess the guy who died was just a clone. Was there a parachute I saw at the end?
