While the pristine USS Enterprise is a sight to behold, artist Justin Van Genderen understands the appeal of a spaceship that shows its wear. He recreated Volkswagen's classic "Lemon" print advertisement for the Millennium Falcon and the Firefly---with a slight twist. Volkswagen's slogan was focused on quality control: "We pluck the lemons; you get the plums." Van Genderen embraces the imperfect: "You keep the plums, we'll pick the lemons."
