Here’s a nice story that will warm the cockles of your cold, dead heart on this Christmas Eve.  The New York Times ran a piece on a gay couple who live in Chelsea that started receiving letters to Santa.  However, the couple don’t live anywhere close to a place that could be considered the North Pole.  All of the letters are addressed to their apartment, which is on 22nd street.  The couple, Jim and Dylan, decided to fulfill as many of the Christmas wishes as possible.  Jim sent out a message on Facebook asking people to help and also got his co-workers to answer some letters as well.  All told, they were able to grant 150 of the 450 letters they received.

I’ll be shocked if this doesn’t get turned into a movie.  I just hope that they keep the protagonists gay.  Hit the jump to check out the video.
